What is a Short Sale?  A short sale is when a house is sold for less than what is owed to creditors who have secured their interest to the property through a lien, such as a mortgage lender, unpaid vendor or judgement holder.  If you owe more on the property than it is worth and need to sell it, call us.  We may be able to help.

Are you posting those "We Buy Houses" signs all over DC?  That's not us.  Those are typically wholesalers who are trying to make a quick buck by "flipping" contracts on homes. We purchase homes primarily to remodel or redevelop them before selling to homeowners.

What is Wholesaler?  A wholesaler is a middleman.  Wholesalers will try and get the owner of a property to sign a contract for a certain amount, and then mark up the price and assign that contract to an investor or retail buyer.

I just inherited a house that I don't want.  What should I do?  It depends.  If it's in good condition and you have the time, list it on the open market with a realtor. We can recommend a good agent to help you list it publically. However, if it needs lots of repairs, you don’t want to pay an agent’s sales commission,  or if you just want to unload it fast, we may be able to purchase it quickly at a fair price.

How do I purchase a home that has been remodeled by Rock Creek Homes?   We are proud of the quality of our redesigned and remodeled homes, and past buyers have been very pleased. To learn more about homes currently available, see the PROJECTS page of our website.
